Gelnique 3% is indicated for the treatment of overactive bladder with symptoms of urge urinary incontinence, urgency, and frequency.
Important Safety Information
You should not use Gelnique 3% if you have certain types of stomach problems, glaucoma, or trouble passing urine. The most common side
effects for Gelnique 3% are dry mouth and application site reactions. Other side effects may include headache, redness and swelling at the
application site, and dizziness. Gelnique 3% may cause allergic reactions that may be serious. If you experience swelling of the face, lips,
throat or tongue, stop taking Gelnique 3% and get emergency help. You should cover the application site with clothing if close skin-to-skin
contact at the application site is anticipated. The gel is flammable, so you should avoid open flame and smoking until the gel has dried.
